Authentic Muay Thai and American Kickboxing training can help you achieve your fitness goals.
Muay Thai-
A highly effective in-ring and self-defense art, Muay Thai (Thai boxing) is the national sport of Thailand.
Muay Thai is known as, “the art of eight limbs.” This refers to the eight points of contact used (fists, elbows, knees, and shins).
Muay Thai is a combat sport martial art. Modern Muay Thai looks much more like (and is practiced more like) kickboxing or boxing. There is still a "rank order", but it does not rely on uniforms and belts, unlike martial arts such as taekwondo or jiu jitsu.
American Karate - American Kickboxing-
When traditional karate, Tae-Kwon-Do, and other martial arts became popular in America, Western boxing was also supreme. American kickboxing is a hybrid of Sport Karate and Western Boxing. It has elements of both traditional and point karate, as well as boxing. Originally knees, elbows, and clinch work were not allowed, but when American Kickboxers began to meet Muay Thai Boxers in the ring the style had to adapt.
